Creators of VirtualTrebuchet

Eric Olson is the manager of VirtualTrebuchet. He developed the equations and simulation code for a trebuchet. Eric is a Mechanical Engineer at Bell Helicopter. He got his BSME and MSME from UT Arlington.

Peter Olson is the programmer for VirtualTrebuchet. Peter graduated from UT Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science.

VirtualTrebuchet 2.0

VirtualTrebuchet is a web based trebuchet simulator that will allow you to quickly evaluate different trebuchet configurations.

  1. To begin, enter the parameters of your trebuchet in the input boxes.
  2. Next, press the "Simulate" button located under the inputs.
  3. Finally, watch your trebuchet go.
